Freelancers vs Permanent Staff

There’s no two ways about it. If you want to grow your business, you need help! You need resources and you need staff. So what do you do? Generally, you have two choices:

1. You can use Freelancers or Contractors to get some things done for you, or
2. You can hire staff to work with you permanently.

Freelancers are good for project-based work, but not good for scaling and getting your time back. Think about it, name one large global company that runs off Freelancers. It doesn’t work, because to get past the Micro-Business phase into small business and beyond, you need long-term permanent staff that can be a real talent asset to your business.

So Why Build A Permanent Offshore Team?

The answer to scaling is to build your permanent team. We are of the belief that you should have a combination of offshore and local team members. Offshore are good for very specific task driven roles, but high level positions that require critical thinking, we believe you should keep onshore.
